The principle of plasma cutting involves directing a high-temperature ionized gas (plasma) at the metal surface, which melts and blows the material out of the cutting path. CNC control adds computer-driven precision to this process, enabling complex shapes to be cut with repeatable results. Livemet OÜ CNC plasma cutting achieves cutting accuracy of +/-0.5 mm, which is sufficient for most metal structure components.

Our plasma cutting equipment can cut carbon steel up to 50 mm thick, stainless steel up to 40 mm, and aluminum up to 30 mm. The cutting table dimensions are 3000 by 12000 mm, allowing processing of large-format sheets. In addition to straight cuts, we also perform bevel cuts for welding edge preparation, which saves time in later production stages.
