Stainless Steel Welding

Stainless steel TIG welding — railings, handrails, food industry equipment, and architectural elements.

Stainless steel welding is a highly skilled specialty where the material's properties impose strict demands on the welding process. Livemet OÜ offers professional stainless steel welding, primarily using the TIG method, which delivers clean, aesthetic, and corrosion-resistant weld seams. Our welders specialize in stainless steel fabrication and hold the appropriate certifications.

Stainless steel is a material used wherever high corrosion resistance, hygiene, and aesthetic appearance are required. Typical applications include food and pharmaceutical processing, medical equipment, architectural elements, railings and handrails, and chemical industry equipment. Livemet OÜ primarily works with austenitic stainless steels AISI 304 and AISI 316 — the most widely used stainless steel grades.

TIG welding is the preferred method for stainless steel because it provides precise heat input control and minimal material distortion. When welding stainless steel, the use of back-purge gas is critically important to prevent oxidation on the root side of the weld. Livemet OÜ uses argon back-purging on all stainless steel welding operations, ensuring complete corrosion resistance of the weld seam.

Our stainless steel welding services include railings and handrails for buildings and staircases, food industry equipment fabrication and repair, architectural stainless steel elements, and industrial equipment components. All weld seams are ground and polished according to client specifications — from matte to mirror finish.

To order stainless steel welding services, contact Livemet OÜ in Harju County, Estonia. We offer both in-house welding at our production facility and on-site services at the client's location. Our welders have experience welding everything from thin-walled tubes and sheets to thick stainless steel plates.
